PUSH THE BUTTON like one of your French girls… (Pictures, GIFs and a video too!)

(Drawing by Chris Carter)

On Friday 27th April, PUSH THE BUTTON like one of of your French girls set sail from the RVT on her maiden voyage. As the Jane McDonald of proceedings, it was my duty to provide entertainment to the passengers on board. AND I DID… I REALLY DID. During the first half of the evening, unwitting First Class passengers were escorted up to the RVT attic at the top of the building, lead into the Captain’s Quarters and given an intimate, exclusive and very special performance from a beautiful mermaid in a medical research facility.

LOOK HOW BEAUTIFUL SHE IS:

I’d tap that.

We recorded quite a few of these intimate performance experiences, spliced them together, and here is what happened.

BUT THERE WASN’T JUST ONE PERFORMANCE THAT EVENING…

The second celebrated, and in no way desecrated, the 100th anniversary of Titanic. The DVD release, that is.

Here is a blow-by-blow account, accompanied by pictures and GIFs, of how the other performance went down.

(NB: may just take a few seconds to load)

“It’s been 100 years, and I can still smell the fresh paint. The china had never been used. The sheets had never been slept in. Push The Button was called the Ship of Dreams. And it was… It really was.”

“ICEBERG! RIGHT AHEAD!”

The category is: JAMES CAMERON 3D BLOCKBUSTER ICEBERG AHEAD REALNESS

OH SHIT.

“IS THERE ANYONE ALIVE OUT THERE?”

AND NOW IT’S GOING TO GET WET. YOU MIGHT NEED A TISSUE…

HCW TRIVIA: You may recognise that water pouring device from a previous video of mine…

THAT’S RIGHT. I WANTED TO PAY HOMAGE TO MYSELF. AND WHAT?

TA-DAHHHH!

AND THERE WE HAVE IT!

Push The Button performances require a lot of preparation and in the words of Velma Kelly: “I simply cannot do it… *slides down pole* A-LOOOOONE”. THEREFORE I’D LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU TO: Chris, Daniel, Dominic, Cola, Scott, John, The RVT, Push The Button and all who sail in her.

STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING… We’re taking Push The Button to Bristol Pride! Alongside Horse Meat Disco & Horseplay, we’ll be hosting the official Bristol Pride Afterparty at the O2 Academy on Saturday 14th July. It’s going to be amazing, YOU SHOULD COME!

We’ll be announcing the next Push The Button very soon, so make sure to like the page on Facebook AND COME ALONG!

I took my clothes off for GT’s annual Naked Issue.

Posted on 5th December, 2011 | 1 Comment

Every year, GT release their Naked Issue which features a lot of men completely naked to help raise money for a good cause. Charity and nudity… double whammy! This year I was asked to be one of those naked men with proceeds going to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Buying the magazine was an occasion I felt should be documented and so my little sister came along to film it (there was a strike on and she was off school; gave her something to do).

And on World AIDS Day, I was asked to write a blog for the Huffington Post, so I chose to talk about getting naked and trying to raise as much money as possible.

There’s also a behind-the-scenes video interview from the shoot posted on Digital Spy. I dragged the lovely Chris Allen in front of camera to have a nice chat and show him my hidden talent…

The January Naked Issue 2012 is no longer available to buy in shops, but digital copies can be found at: http://bit.ly/nakedissue2012

Thanks to everyone at GT for being so amazing and to everyone at the shoot for making nudity such a comfortable experience!

Merry Christmas!

Posted on 20th December, 2010 | 1 Comment

Well seeing as it’s Christmas I thought I’d celebrate the season by taking my clothes off. Why? Because I’m so shamelessly festive. I also wanted to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to everyone who has made this year so very special for me. Thank you.

Next year looks like it could be even more exciting, so stick with me and we’ll be in this together.

Hope everyone has a marvellous Christmas and a bloody fantastic New Year.

I was asked to write about my experiences at the Iris Prize film festival and I did. They gave me free wine… My first article, in all it’s glory, can be read on So So Gay.

Who knew I could write? I didn’t even know I could read.

I totally have a website!

It is with the greatest of pleasures that I welcome you to my website. And here we are…

Thank you coming to visit me in my little corner of the vast landscape that people call the internet. It’s always nice to have a look around people’s houses, especially when they’re not at home. I believe it’s called breaking and entering. I’m not too sure. I’d like to think that you could come and have a look around and you might see something you like, you might root through a few drawers, help yourself to something from the fridge, or you might just take a seat and watch a few videos.

That in mind, come back and see what I’m up to. You can always pop in whenever you like and be sure to say hello.

All my love,

Harry Clayton-Wright. X
